Walk The Doc 2024 Submissions
Focusing on Nature, Environment and Travel, we are looking for stories that document interesting events, amazing people and intriguing things that address the beauty and how we care or should care about our planet.
We accept documentaries, reports, and travel programmes.
All submissions must comply to the Rules & Regulations. Please read them carefully.

RULES & REGULATIONS
Please read them carefully
- Submission of factual contents in the form of feature documentaries, reports, micro/short documentaries and travel programmes under the field of nature, environment and travel are permitted
- There are no submission fees
- Duration for all film submitted under Best Documentary Category, is up to 30 minutes or under 60 minutes
- For submission under Best Travel Programme, if it is a series, please submit any one episode from the series.
- Submitted films must not be published before 01.01.2020
- For films that are not presented in the English language, English subtitles are required. Submitter is responsible for the accuracy of the translation
- Submission is only possible via the Walk The Doc Content Festival website. All films must be available either via Vimeo or Youtube link
- All films should be submitted electronically. DVDs or other media will not be accepted
- Submitter may submit more than one film. For multiple submission, separate entry forms is required
- All submission forms must be complete
- For all categories, a pre-jury organized by the festival management will determine the finalists
- The main jury will select respective winners from the finalists. The result is final
- Winners will be invited to the festival. The cost of the accommodation of the winners will be covered by the Festival for two nights at the partner hotels of the Festival. Further travel expenses must be paid by the finalist.
- By submitting, each respective submitter guarantees full rights to their Submission, including, without limitation, all copyright rights and the rights to any video or digital recording, and all rights for the performance contained in each Submission. Rights of thirdparties must not be violated
- As part of the Festival, film screenings of the submitted films are free of charge for the organizer
- Changes to the rules and regulations can be made by the festival management at any time
- Jurisdiction is Malaysia
